Taanishi, my name is Rachael Heiser and I’m running for Youth President of Métis Nation–Saskatchewan. I’m a proud Métis woman from Saskatoon who believes in strong youth leadership, mentorship, and cultural connection.
My goals are to amplify youth voices, support our locals who know their communities best, and create space for youth and Elders to connect and learn from one another. I want to see more engagement, more opportunity, and more representation for Métis youth across the province.
Together, we can build a stronger future — one that’s rooted in culture, led by youth, and guided by our Old Ones.
