Wendy Gervais is a compassionate leader and proud Michif woman with deep kinship roots from the Red River reaching across Saskatchewan. A visionary grounded in traditional values; Wendy believes true self-determination begins with strong grassroots governance. She has heard the voices of citizens and is committed to building and supporting urban and rural councils that reflect our Michif identity. Wendy brings integrity, grit, and a strong voice for the people. She looks forward to continuing discussions with citizens about traditional Michif governance and strengthening community connections across Western Region III.

A proud Métis citizen, Riel Parisien has led Saskatchewan’s infrastructure industry for over a decade as President of the award-winning Legends Landscape & Removal.
In an industry where only 3% of businesses survive beyond three years (Statistics Canada), Riel built a company that delivered major projects, created 100+ jobs for Indigenous and Métis citizens, and provided trades training and healthcare.
A former Team Canada athlete, he brings discipline, pride, and a results-driven mindset. Now he’s stepping up to drive economic growth in the region and create more jobs through proven business leadership.

Tresley is ready to work together with citizens to create change in WR3. Her focus “kwayshkipayitahk” means, let’s turn things around. Tresley’s initial priorities will be ensuring that locals and the region are having regular, open meetings, holding timely elections, sharing financial information, and creating opportunities for dialogue with the community. Our role as elected leaders, locally, regionally, and provincially is to ensure we represent the voices of our citizens, we do that through dialogue and discussion.
