Both my wife and I have been living a clean & sober healthy lifestyle since 1987 and have two beautiful grandchildren. I have many years of experience on Public & Metis Governance Boards working for the betterment of our Community and Families. My name is Lyndon MacDonald, and I’ve proudly called Buffalo Narrows home my entire life.
I was raised by a strong and grounded father who instilled in me the values of our Métis heritage. From a young age, he taught me how to live off the land—just as our people have done for generations. That deep connection to the land and our culture has shaped the person I am today.
I bring a wealth of experience and dedication to this nomination. I’ve worked in the mining industry from an early age—starting with line cutting and exploration, moving into underground operations, and for the past 12 years, serving as a power engineer at a uranium mill.
