With 25+ years in business, I’ve managed $100M+ in budgets and served as Allan1885 Métis Local President & WR2A Finance Committee member. I passed a transparency resolution at the MNLA. I’m campaigning to introduce a Transparency & Accountability Act & launch a public spending portal.  So, citizens can follow the money and hold leadership accountable.

Hi, my name is Beth Westfall. I live on a small farm with my husband and two kids in the south east corner of the province. Deeply rooted in our Metis heritage, my family and I trap, hunt, fish and forage. We tan the animals we harvest and have recently learned how to make mitts. Being outdoors and living from the land is where are truly happy.

  I am running for Treasurer to make a difference, to actively have a say and help all Metis citizens. I will work with the finance committee to make sure audits and budgets are brought to the PMC in a timely manner, and in extension brought to the MNLA where the elected officials have the last and most important say.

Patricia Young, a Metis woman from Northern Saskatchewan, presents her background as a candidate for the position of Treasurer with the Metis Nation-Saskatchewan. She has a diverse professional history, including roles in government and financial management, and seeks to serve her community by promoting transparency and accountability
